We had another rainy week! It has been a little difficult finding people this week in the rain. Everyone seems to disapear in the rain. But it was still great. We were able to make goals with a lot of people. We learned a lot about barriers that we set in our own lives that stops us from eternal progression. It hurts us to see our investigators fall into temptation when they know what is right. In our lives we are surrounded by temptations and sometimes they seem more than we can bare. But i know that if we could just have a little strength, enough to get on our knees, and pray for the strenth to resist those temptations, God will give us the strength to resist any temptation that we have. I know this church is true. Everyone have a great week! -Elder Nelson

Its been awesome this week. We are meeting a lot of new people, a lot of great people. We met a woman who is real interested in learning more. She is super cool and loves to hear the messages. We are excited for her and see her progress. We met a great family. They have a few doubts but they are great and smart. We are helping them resolve their doubts and are excited to see what will happen. Its been great to work so hard and see miracles happen. There is no better place than in the service of the Lord. -Elder Nelson

It rained last monday and afterwards, it got cold! It was a surprise. We had to pull out our sweaters! But it was good. We had a great zone meeting in Dorados. It was good to see the one and have some trainings. We had another good english class, we are having more people show up every week. Its bringing people which is awesome. We focused on contacts this week. We are trying to talk to everyone and invite everyone to come unto Christ. We are seeing blessings and are loving it here! Everyone have a great week! Elder Nelson

This week has been great. We are working to do the standard of excellence our president has established. The hard part is 40 street contacts per day. So we are having to talk to every person. Its fun but its difficult. But it works. We are working with several less active members. There are about 60 people going to church but about 170 houses registered as having members, some houses of 5 members. So there is a lot of inactivity and we are working towards a ward. Its awesome. We started an english class here. It was pretty awesome. I think im becoming a pretty good teacher after all of these classes. But the more i teach the more i realize that i am forgetting somethings. But its awesome. The first class had a great result and there are a lot of people interested. More people are interested in english class than recieving our visits. We will travel to Dorados today for a zone meeting which will be held tomorrow. It should be a good trip and an uplifting meeting. Im not so excited to travel again but im excited to have the meeting. -Elder Nelson

Maracajú is awesome! Im loving it here. After one plane ride and 3 bus rides i finally arrived. And im loving it here. Its a small city of about 40,000 and they have a branch here. There are so many awesome members and people here. The church has been in the city for quite some time, about 40 years ive been told. And the church unit is still a branch. So we are going to work hard for a ward. We are starting Project Ward which will help the branch work towards being a ward. We are excited and the members are going to be too. The city is awesome. The people are awesome. Im excited to be here. And im so excited to help. Everyone have an amazing week. -Elder Nelson
4/11/16
So i will be transfered to Maracaju! I will leave tomorrow and i will be the district leader in that city! It will be great! This week was great. We were finally able to move out of our house and into the new appartment. It was a little difficult, especially with the large wardrobes. But it all turned out great in the end! I loved my time here in Alta Floresta. I love the people here. It will be sad to leave but the Lord has His plans. The church is so true. And it doesnt matter the city, the people, or the time frame. God doesnt change. He has always called prophets and He will continue to call prophets. He leads and guides His church in our day and how greatful I am to be a part of it. Everyone have an amazing week! -Elder Nelson

General conference was amazing! We had the first general conference here in Alta Floresta! It was a little difficult to set everything up but in the end, everything worked out great! We were able to enjoy the first transmitted general conference in Alta Floresta. This week has been great. We are seeing more and more miracles every day. We are doing splits to learn from each other and it is going great. I loved the words of the prophet and the aposltes this conference. They were so awesome to hear. I loved learning of the Spirit and how what they said is true. We need to be searching the Spirit and trusting Him. Sometimes in our lives we will trust in ourselves, in our knowledge. But whats important, is that we trust in the Spirit. Because nothing spiritual can be learned without Him. Its beautiful doctorine. Everyone have an amazing week. -Elder Nelson

Every week the potential grows here in Alta Floresta. Several people are making the commitment to the Savior and following Him. There are several people who are visiting the church and seeing how good it really is. The hard part is going the first time, to take that first step. But a lot of people who do dont want to look back. Easter was great. It was great to teach people of the importance of easter. The importance of the Ressurection of the Savior and not only His death. There is so much to learn of Him. His life didn't start with His birth neither ended with His death on the cross, but lived and lives today. Just as we will. Everyone have a great week and an amazing general conference! -Elder Nelson

This week has been amazing. We were able to help out with an activity of the Relief Society. It seemed to turn out pretty good. Even better that our investigator went. We also had a surprise of someone we taught weeks ago show up at church. It was pretty great to see someone. I love so much introducing someone to the church and showing them how it is and how it goes. We found out that the owner of our house sold our house so we are being forced to move. But it really isnt foced because we have been looking for a new house ever since i got here. When it rains, it almost rains more inside the house than outside. But we think we found an appartment that will work just great. I cannot explain how much I love being here. There is truly something special about being on the Lord's mission. He loves and blesses us so much. Just seeing Him work through us is a blessing enough. There is no greater work than the Lord's. The time flies by so fast. Of course im anxious to return home but i wouldnt trade this time for anything. I am so greatful that God loves us young men so much that he gave us this commandment, this two years to serve Him. Everyone have an amazing week and an awesome easter. And don't forget to say Hallelujah this year. https://www.mormon.org/easter?cid=HP_SU_3-13-2016_dMIS_fSPC_xLIDyL1-A_ -Elder Nelson
3/14/16
We were able to have 5 investigators yesterday at church. It was super awesome. We are so happy and excited for the people that are progressing and the family that we are working with. We are happy to see progress in our work despite the difficulties. It has rained a lot this week and has been difficult to get to places but we were blessed either way. We were able to teach with the Spirit several times this week. It has been amazing. I am so happy that i can put my life more and more in order so i can be an instrument in the Lord's hands. It is amazing to be able to feel the spirit to the point of tears. I cannot describe the importance of searching the Spirit in all things. To have this feeling, changes your life. And the more you feel it, the more you will change and the better you will be. Everyone have an amazing week. -Elder Nelson

The first week of a new transfer! It has been great with plans for the better. We had to say goodbye to our good friend Elder Bodily and hello to our new friend Elder Cardoso in our district. It has been a good week. We were so happy to see a family that we have been visiting for some weeks now visit church sunday! They seemed to like it too! We are so excited for Nivaldo and his family! After the mission tour, things are getting crazy. We are cracking it down with a new standard of excellence and we are trying to do our best. Our district wants to do better and we will try to do our best. This transfer will be a great one. Everyone have a fantastic week, -Elder Nelson

So I will stay in Alta Floresta! And i will be the district leader so i am pretty excited! We had a meeting in Cuiabá and it was great. We are striving for perfection and i can see how the Lords coming is nearer than we think. We had a little adventure. We stayed in Cuiabá to renew our vistas. So our companions returned to Alta Floresta to work while we were in Cuiabá. We stayed there and finally we were able to do our papers. We grabbed a flight and started to fly to Alta Floresta. When the plane was arriving at Alta the pilot was trying to land but the plane shook when he tried. It was raining hard and had a lot of wind. He hovered around the city and tried a few times but couldnt land. And they said it was the same in nearby cities. So they told us we would return to Cuiabá. They payed a nice hotel for us with all you can eat free food. It just happened to be across the street from our mission office. So, it was an interesting week. I was just happy to return to the city and get working again. We have high hopes for this transfer. We will work harder than ever and see the Lords hand. The best thing we can to is strive to be the best so the Spirit can work through you to the people you are teaching. Lets see where this transfer leads us. -Elder Nelson
2/23/16
We had a conference yesterday and it was great. It was an awesome experience and we are working for a perfect mission. It will be great now. The transfer is ending and everything is going great. We are having people going to church finally. With the new place it is really good to have. Everything is going great. I am excited in what is to come, because it is great. Its going to be a great next few months. Everyone have a great week! -Elder Nelson

Our first sunday in our new building was yesterday. It was super great. We had a lot of people there and it was awesome. We are excited for what it has to bring and the potential of Alta Floresta now. Some man showed up at the church. Our branch president talked to him but never thought he would come, and he did. We are excited to help him learn more. Our pool of people has been very interesting my time here. We start teaching a lot of people but they dont progress so we have to cut them. Our potential is small but we are searching and searching for the elects. The work is difficult, but the Lord is putting those in our path who are needing what we have. We will head to Cuiaba next week so it should be an awesome experience. I am looking forward to the training and the reuinion. Everyone have a great week! -Elder Nelson
2/10/16
So, this week has been exciting. We had a crazy last minute schedule due to carnival. But we finally arrived at p-day. So we are happy. The church building will finally start this sunday. So we are inviting everyone to go and check it out, especially the neighborhood that stays close to it. We went and did the hardest thing this week, clap doors. But we were able to meet some great people. One man explained that he loves our church and he already visited and recieved missionaries in São Paulo. So we are excited to see where he will go. Just excitement this week. We are excited to go to a mission tour here in two weeks and hear from a seventy. It should be exciting. I dont know if you all know where chocolate comes from but we got to eat and experiment the fruit yesterday. It was pretty interesting, but good. Everyone have a great week, until monday! -Elder Nelson
2/1/16
So we are hoping that the church building will be finished this week! Everything looks about ready we just have to see how everything goes and see if we can use it this weekend for church! This week has been great! We were able to have a baptism in our branch and it was really exciting! Everything is going great and we have a lot of hope for things to come! The weekly english classes and activities are getting exciting as we invite more and more people. There is just a lot of excitement going around here. Now is the exciting time in Brazil. Everyone is getting ready for Carnival. So the church is sending the youth on camping trips to get away. But it will be interesting to try to teach people in this time. But we will do our best. It should be great. Well everyone have a great week! -Elder Nelson
1/25/16
Our Branch president returned from his vacation this week so things got better. Even better that we have more lunches now. So it looks like our building with take a little bit longer than we thought and probably two more weeks. But we are excited either way. We at least can still have activities and english class. It seems that every friday night, when we do enlish class, it seems to rain hard. Like a stom. So it makes it difficult for people to come. But it was still good. We are creating a tradition to bring american foods. The first one was brownies and this one was waffles and maple. Things are turning out good. Another rainy week it has been. It makes it a little more difficult to get to where we are going when it starts raining like crazy out of no where. But it also gives us the opportunity to enter someones house or shop and meet new people. God works in ways that we dont think about. I love being in the Lords will. To be helping His children here. There is no greater calling than that. Everyone have an amazing week! -Elder Nelson

So I will stay here in Alta Floresta along with my whole district. None of us are being transfered! So we will all probably be able to see the new building open and continue with the weekly activities and english classes we started! So we are all excited. This week was pretty awesome. We are receiving A LOT of rain. They say its normally like this around this time of year and this year it is late. Sometimes we get trapped under something for a while and we just have to wait for it to stop. Most of the time its so crazy that an umbrella doesnt do anything. Its great! We were able to meet a lot of new people this week and extend a few baptism invitations. One of our investigators accepted and we are excited to be able to help him prepare for this covenant with the Lord. We are so happy and excited for him. We also got to help one the church building! We were able to help out and do a service project there to help the builders. It was pretty fun and exhausting! But we enjoyed it! It was cool to help out and be a part of the building! Well everyone have a great week!

This week was great. We are beginning to have a lot of rain. Apparently this year has been really dry here but now its starting to rain like normal, its crazy. When it rains, it rains. Which makes it a little more interesting to work. But its real nice to get some rain to cool down the heat. Now starts the last week of the transfer so we are setting goals to make it the best for the next transfer. We are pretty excited. It should be good, this week. We had a good turn out in the church yesterday. We were able to get the help of the members building the church building, with their car. We were able to pick up some of the members in our area and also some investigators. Our area is a little complicated and a lot of people dont have cars so if they want to get to chuch they have to walk the minimum one hour. But we were able to help them this week. The men building the church said it will be finished the 20th. So we are excited. Well i hope that i can be here to see. Well everyone have a great week. Until the next, -Elder Nelson

We celebrated new years watching the fireworks that a lot of people launched off. Here they use their fireworks on new years. It was pretty cool to see and a good experience. This week we had the cool experience to have fast and testimony meeting. And with a lot of member traveling, it was a small turn out. But it was so great for the people that went. There was so many people that shared powerful testimonies. It truly is something when you just share a little testimony for others to here, it will strengthen someone. We now have a normal week where people should start returning to the city and we can start working serious again. It should be good. Only two weeks left in this transfer and we will make them count. I hope everyone has a great week and new year! -Elder Nelson

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas! This one was great, to really focus on what matters most. This week I went to have confrence in Cuiabá! We had to take a bus there which took about 15 hours! But it was good to finally get there. We did a lot of things and there was a lot of great times! We traveled back (by plane this time) back to Alta Floresta with our companions! We got to show them the area and have some fun on our pday night of 24 and pday of 25. It was pretty great. Im loving it. My new companion is Elder Dontato from São Paulo Brasil. He is a convert to the church at 22, just a little over a year ago. And he is great. We are enjoying things here a lot and its going great. One thing our mission president talked to us about it presents. There are presents, real presents, that we recieve every day from God. Blessings, happiness, His love, and so much. But whats important this time of year is what we can give Him. There are things that we can give Him. Maybe its something that we will give up that will make us in His will more. Maybe its something that we will do more that will be obeying Him more. Its important that we can make these goals this time of year and we can always learn more and arrive closer and closer to Him. And how great will be our joy. Everyone have a great new year! -Elder Nelson

12/21/15
We are preparing for christmas by teaching everyone what it is really all about. In Brasil, everyone believes in God but very few actually know who He is. So it is an amazing opportunity to teach them that God is our Heavenly Father, who created our spirits. He wants us to progress even more so He created this plan for us and sent us here. He loves us so much He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to suffer for us so we can return to Him, even better. And we have His church once again on the earth, preparing for the second coming of Jesus Christ. We will travel by plane to Cuiabá today to have a Christmas Conference tomorrow. We then will return with our companions Wednesday. So we are excited for this week. It should be pretty good. I hope everyone will have a great Christmas and remember and give time to Him who saved us all. -Elder Nelson
12/14/15
It was a little crazy this week with the whole city and just us two. But we found a way and made it work. It was great to meet new people this week. And it was awesome to work the other half of the city. So there isnt much priesthood holders in our branch. Basically, it is just our branch president. And he will travel for a month starting next sunday. So Elder Bodily and I have the opportunity to run the branch until he returns. It should be pretty interesting. But we are excited. I had the opportunity to give a talk in church this past sunday and i gave it on Jesus Christ and the Atonement. I talked about how the prophet Jacob in the Book of Mormon said we should seek to obtain a perfect knowledge in Christ and in His atonement. So i talked about His atonement. It is something that most people know about but not much about. What does it mean? Why the big sacrifice? How does it work? These are some questions to think about. And i invite everyone to think about them especially during this special season where we celebrate this Prince of Peace and Mighty Counselor, Jesus Christ. He was born, He suffered for us, He died on the cross, He he ressurected himself. All so we can have joy. Everyone have a great week! -Elder Nelson

12/7/15
Well President Oliveira came to visit our city this week! He arrived and he began to tell us our transfer. So the other companionship in the city will be leaving and it will leave Elder Bodily and I to work in the city for three weeks. Elder Bodily, my companion, recieved the position of district leader and i recieved the position of senior companion. After three weeks, at the Christmas Confrence, we will pick up our companions. Which are pretty new, with only 2 transfers each. So it should be a pretty fun transfer, we are pretty excited. We worked with a lot of people this week and met a lot of people on the road. We are searching for those who are seeking the truth. But for now, it is a little difficult. But we wont give up we will keep on searching. This week was great, it was really spiritual and amazing. We are seeing the church come up and we are seeing a lot of potencial in people. The church is being restored and people are being brought back to the truth, I know it. I hope everyone has a good week! Us three for three weeks! -Elder Nelson
11/30/15
We are visiting and meeting a lot of new people. We are working and working and working ha. We are trying to prepare for the building that we will have here soon. We want to fill it. We want to help as many people as we can. Our time is short here, so we got to take advantage. It is hard to get people to realize how important going to church really is. We are having a lot of struggles with this, my companion and I. Many people in the world think that we just need to remember God every once and a while in our lives. We just need to believe in Him. But I promise you thats not it. Faith is an amazing word. Because in it exists two words: believing and acting. Just like it says in James 2:20, "Faith without works is dead." So we need to act on our beliefs. We need to go to church to feed our faith. We need the blessings that come from going to church. And if we go to church we will see this in action. When I think about Christmas coming up here I get excited. Lights going up, trees getting decorated, stores putting up promotions, and everyone just excited. Its a beautiful time of the year. But whats even more beautiful is when we remember what its really all about. There was a baby born more than two thousand years ago. He was born a person just like you and me with challenges, pain, trials, and temptations, but He was born with a purpose, a purpose greater than any purpose that ever existed, He was to save the world. I hope that we can all remember Him, Jesus Christ, this Christmas season. And I hope we can learn just a little bit more about what He did and how it applies to our lives personally. This video is amazing and all of you should check it out. christmas.mormon.org Everyone have a great week! -Elder Nelson
11/23/15
The construction workers arrived to begin the construction of the new house that we will use as a church. They will start now and it should be ready to use before Christmas. It is really exciting. Everyone is really excited and we are making a lot of plans to prepare to actually have our own building here. It is nothing but excitement here for the members. On the side of investigators, we have been looking for new people. We noticed that the further in our area we go, the more easier it is to find people. So we went to the furthest part in our area that we could find, 2 hours away walking, and we began to meet people. We met a lot of awesome people and families and we are planning to go there a lot. It has been really awesome to find new people. So we will begin and see where this will lead us. We have been teaching a lot the Plan of Salvation. And we have been using a lot of the life of Jesus Christ to show it. Before he died on the cross he told the man next to Him that they would be in paradise that very day. And three days later He appeard as a ressurected person to Mary and told her that He hasnt yet appeared to His Father. And we read in Peter that he taught the dead in prison. So where is this paradise and prison? We know that is the Spirit World where we wait for the ressurecton, where we can still learn about the gospel and get the chance to come closer to Christ even more. We know the Plan of God is completely just. And we all have the opportunity to return to Him, And to live in HIs presence with our families for eternity. Everyone have a great thanksgiving! And remember to thank God for His plan for you! Have a great week! -Elder Nelson

This week our District Leader went to a meeting and we got stuck with the whole city, just us three elders. It was a fun week. We did a lot of work and when our district leader came back we got the sad news that we can no longer play soccer on p-days. Apparently too many elders are hurting themselves. Oh well, we will find other things to do. These past weeks have been a little difficult, people are having a hard time going to church. Our numbers have been really low from 20-30 people in church including us. But we will help this branch and it will grow strong. We were able to have an activity in the new house that we will soon meet in. It is really nice and we cleaned it up. It should work really good for a church and we are excited for it. I learned a lot this week. God is there. And he wants us to repent. He wants us to grow close to Him. But we cant do that without leaning, without growing. We cant do nothing our whole lives here on earth and expect salvation. We need to help God's kingdom here on earth, in our own cities. We need to give our all to help it grow stronger. We have the blessing of having the church in our lives now days, in our own cities even. Something people would have done anything for in the past. So lets take advantage of it and help her. Everyone have an awesome week! Heres some photos of last p-day, we went to a museum and an airplane museum thing! -Elder Nelson
11/9/15
Rain! The rainy season here is starting so it is almost raining every day now! It could poor and poor for half and hour and it could just randomly stop and the sun can come out and be hot again. Just a few seconds after, the water is gone and the sun is out to get us again! But its good to get some rain! This week was good to meet some more people. We went to a fair things this week where a bunch of people have booths and sell things. We set up a table and began to talk to people about the gospel and share with them pamphlets and stuff. It was really good. We met a lot of people. Thats really what the majority of our work is here, finding the people prepared by the Lord. It is hard, a lot of people dont want to hear the gospel, but just one out of one hundred is worth it! The worth of every sould is great in the sight of God! I know this to be true! Every single person. And how great is his joy when one, just one, begins to come back to Him. Everyone have a great week! -Elder Nelson

Well after a missed bus, getting lost in Cuiabá, and a short plane ride, I arrived here in Alta Floresta. And im loving it. Theres a lot more forest here, tons of more animals and bugs that we run into every day. There is only 4 missionaries here in this small branch and there is a lot of walking. The areas are really big. We are meeting in a room at the technical college and the number of members is really small! But its really awesome. I love it here, the people are awesome and my companions great! Today is day of the dead here in Brasil so we decided to go to the cemetary this morning and share the plan of salvation with people. There was tons of people and we talked to a lot to people. A lot of people didnt want to hear but we gave them a pamphlet anyways. God really has a plan for us. And its perfect. We can live with our families forever. And this is what God wants. And everyone will learn of this plan, now or later. But its better for them and for us if we share with them this plan. We are blessed with this knowlege, why shouldnt they be? Everyone have an amazing week! p.s. One photo we did go carts one p-day in Rondonopolis and the other is 2 americans eating mexican ice cream in Brasil. -Elder Nelson

So I will be transfered to Alta Floresta with translated in english is High Forest! So it is basically in the Amazon and should be really awesome! Im super excited but sad to leave Rondonópolis. But it should be great! We did a lot of divisons with other missionaries this week! So it has been great to learn from other people. Thats something that is set up from God to us missionaries and really for everyone! We shouldnt compare ourselves to others but its a great tool that we can learn from the example of others to better ourselves. Expecially Jesus Christ. The natural man in everyone wants to look at the bad in people. But if we look only on the bad in people we will never grow. And we learn that from the pharasees and Jesus Christ. We need to look on the good in people. I forgot my pictures this week since of the rush, i will be picking up a bus here in a little bit. But everyone have a great week! And have a great Holloween! -Elder Nelson

10/19/15
It is becoming summer here! This week has been full of contacts, lessons, and sweat! But it has been super great. I love working here and the opportunity to learn more and grow mentaly, emotionally, physically, and most importantly spiritualy! We were able to meet a really awesome family. They have been looking for a church. They have been having problems medically and have been looking for a spiritual strength. They have already been to a few churches but just havent felt right. But they said that they felt something different talking to us and are excited to visit the church. We are super excited for them! We also met another family where the mother was already baptised but has lost contact with the church the past few years. We were able to meet here and her family and invite them to church! This week has been amazing and we have been learning a lot on the constant process of conversion and bettering ourselves. There is no end point. We must constantly be creating goals and accepting criticism from others on how we can better ourslelves. But there is a natural sensce in us that doesnt want to change. That doesnt want to accept the critism of us when it could be useful. We cant take offence to constructive critisism! Especially from those most close to us! Constantly bettering, constantly becoming more like Christ is Gods plan for us! I pray that we do this! Everyone have an amazing week! If the weather is below 100 degrees enjoy it! Your lucky! -Elder Nelson
10/12/15
This week has been amazing. It has been a little cloudy and rainy so it has been really awesome. We are all enjoying and taking advantage of the sun not fighting against us this week. But it has been awesome. We´ve been working a lot with contacts, less active members, recent converts, and a few families. It is really awesome to be able to see someone return to the church after a long time of inactivity. This is what we were able to see yesterday. We were so happy it was amazing. It is also really awesome to talk to everyone on the street about the gospel. So spread the knowledge that the Lord´s church is on the earth once again and we are working to gather zion. Its so awesome to be a part of this work and share this wonderful message. I had the great opportunity to study again probably the most important section in Doctrine and Covenants. Section 132. And i really love verse 19. If you guys can study that its really awesome. I love to teach this scripture to families. I love to tell them and bring them the hope that the family can be forever. This is probably one of the most important hope we have in the gospel. The family can be sealed by the word of God to be united throughout eternity and be unlimited throughout the eternities. The love of God is unlimitted and because of this our potential is umlimited. We have to do our best not to take this for granted. We have so much in store but we must live by the way God tells us to live. Its hard but its worth every difficulty, every challenge, every tear, every pain, every exhausted breath. Everything is worth it in the work of the Lord. How great is this gospel! Everyone have an amazing week! I will see you all again next week! -Elder Nelson

I hope everyone enjoyed Confrence! It truly was an inspired and spiritual event. I was so happy to watch that. It was different this time as i watched it in portuguese. It was the highlight of this week! I hope everyone had the chance to watch it! I loved Elder Bednars talk about the leadership of the church. It really helped strengthen my testimony of revelation and how our leaders are truly chosen by the Lord. If you have a chance, i would suggest watching or watching again general confrence, we can learn so much from it. Everyone have a good week! -Elder Nelson

This week we went to Cuiabá for a zone confrence! It was really awesome and i loved it! Our new mission presidente is making a lot of changes for the better so its really awesome! he is really changing the atitude of the mission! I was able to give my first talk in sacrament meeting which was great! It was about member missionary work (easy). But it was awesome to talk to the Branch about that. This week was fun of amazing spiritual experiences! I cannot count how many blessings we recieved! It is true how the Lord will bless you with everything you need and when you are doing more for him he will even bless you with things that you want! I cannot describe little blessing of just simple things like someone offering dinner to us when we were hungry, it truly is amazing. This Gospel is the best thing! There is no better focus in the universe. It applies to everything, everyone. The example of Jesus Christ is the answer to everything! Everyone have a great week and enjoy General Confrence! It is going to be amazing! -Elder Nelson

After several week of gaining trust, we were able to have the baptism of one of our investigators this week! It was super awesome to prepare this for her and to see her nonmember family get really happy for her and see her baptism. My new companion is pretty crazy. He is super excited all the time so its cool! We are going to do great things this transfer! And the new american is from South Carolina, Elder Brown, so its pretty cool to help him and introduce him to Brazil. I have a little trouble speaking in him and english and dont remember how to say some things in enlish but its all good! There is nothing better i can be doing right now. And nothing i could do, and all the potencial that we have, is impossible without the atonement. Jesus Christ gave us everything. So im happy to do some part to give back to Him. Love Him back! And i know you will recieve the pure love of Christ and experience a type of happiness that you never knew existed!

This week we had some challenges. Some challenges with some people we are teaching and some challenges within our own district. But everything turned out great. I was able to learn a lot about the atonement and how it applies to us indivitually and in everything. God loves every single one of us, the sinner and the righteous. He loves us all. We all have problems, difficulites, challenges, and weaknesses. But the atonment, what Jesus Christ payed for us, is there for each one of us. For us to improve. This is what life is about. Bettering ourselves in ways that we cant do ourselves. We cant do it ourselves. We need His help. And all we have to do is ask Him and listen. This week we had american day! Where we did things american and ate american food (to the best of our abilities.) And today is independence day of Brasil so it should be great!
